United Freedom Collective
About the band
United Freedom Collective consists of founding members Robbie Redway, Mathieu Seynaeve and WaiFung Tsang, who’s work outside music involves psychiatry, psychedelic therapy research and yoga teaching. They have collaborated with a host of other musicians who have helped shape the collective’s sound, such as Falle Nioke, FaceSoul and Eliza Shaddad, creating a diverse soundscape, an ‘aural mosaic that glitters with colour and potential’ (Clash Magazine). The group came together with an intention to make devotional, healing music in a time of intense introspection during the 2020 pandemic, and so far have gone on to release 2 EPs on Maribou State’s Dama Dama imprint, gaining radio support from KEXP, BBC6 Music and Worldwide FM, amongst others.
