Vacationer (Session #2)

Vacationer is a Nu-Hula band who write groovy, beat-centered island rock. Former Starting Line and Person L frontman, Kenny Vasoli, has grown from a peppy pop-punker, to an experimental indie storyteller, and finally settled on tropical rock. Their love for travel, surfing and relaxation has led into the chill, earthy songs of Vacationer.

Gone was a transcendent and enjoyable debut, premiering the band’s new direction with style. Relief honors the band’s strengths with aquatic guitar riffs, fairy-like Vibraphone, and pinging keyboards. It’s a strong sophomore release; showing the band more dialed-in, more purposeful, and more creative. Sit back, grab a drink and take in the easy-going, relaxing sounds of Vacationer.
