The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die

The World is a Beautiful Place is more than an emo band. They write emotive music that’s heavily laden with effected, instrumental post-rock. Their trudging progressions are filled with gnarled decay and rich, dewy tones that yield catastrophic floods of feedback. Multiple vocalists scream, sing and speak next to the intricate noise. Recruiting friend and spoken word author, Chris Zizzamia, to recite passages over instrumental sections only serves to help The World Is grow their genre-bending sound.

Their debut full-length, “Whenever, If Ever”, has a strong hold among many critic’s best of 2013. Young and beginning to grab hold of a diverse and dedicated fan base, the World Is shows positive signs of growing potential.
