The Tragic Thrills are an alternative indie band who write anthemic acoustic rock. Zach Porter’s twangy voice is pop-sensible and cheery. His alto bounces over playful lyrics, tacking on grit to fit the autobiographical lyrics demand. Purposefully romantic but not overbearing, Porter moves from personal experience to larger thoughts on love and relationships.

This charismatic group of twenty-somethings thrive in huge choruses; using acoustic rock to seek melodic hooks. The Tragic Thrills are finishing a co-headlining tour with Air Traffic Controller and will release their debut album September 30th.
