The Front Bottoms

The Front Bottoms are a folk punk four-piece band whose intimate lyricism is unparalleled in the scene they dominate. What began as a backyard project between frontman Brian Sella and drummer Matt Uychich has evolved into full band. The addition of bass and a multi-instrumentalist has served to boost the band’s reach and form a fuller sound. Since 2007 they’ve been writing and recording unreleased tracks, the ones their most dedicated fans request at shows. This uproar for old material prompted the Front Bottoms to release the Rose EP, a small collection of the most desirable old tracks fans beg for.

They’re the kind of band whose crowd sings every word, whose metaphorical lyrics adorn the walls and clothing of countless twenty-somethings. Touring with like-minded wordsmiths, Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Devine, has pushed the band to multiple international headlining gigs.
