Ripe is a pop band influenced by jazz, soul, and rock. They’re led by the fearless and joyously inviting presence of frontman Robbie Wulfsohn. Wulfsohn’s goal in every performance is just to get the crowd moving, and he’s well-versed in leading by example. He, along with the rest of the septet, encourages listeners to get lost in the saucy grooves by giving all they have on stage. It’s a simple social experiment meant to push egos aside and revel in the music alone. Each brightly dressed, colorful performer provides a unique attitude and style as their contribution to the spectacular collage that is Ripe.
