JAYE JAYLE
Pushing the boundaries of American blues and folk traditions, Kentucky guitarist/vocalist Jaye Jayle, is exploring the more abstract realms of the singer-songwriter process. His Audiotree Live Session is a dozen shades of dark americana and gothic folk, bleeding with soulful vocals, wide open synths, pumping bass lines, and beautiful guitar structures. A reference to a bluebird locked in a cage, Jaye Jayle’s name is a metaphor for being tethered to the blues’ pentatonic guitar style and forlorn subject matter. Interviewed by resident Audiotree Host FINGY, Jaye Jayle talks about his Garage Band demos, opens about his musical inspirations, and explains his writing process.
