Haley Bonar is a Midwestern songwriter who writes swirling, dark alternative rock. Her freshest sound features doomy synth pads and heavily fuzzed guitars. It’s as driven, groovy and powerful as the songstress herself.

“Last War” is a move from country-tinged tunes to an alternative edge. After a decade of songwriting, Bonar has found her distinctly strong voice. The lyrical material has always been dark, but she now has the sound to match. The deep influence of life changes has culminated in sweeping guitar noise, and deep, ethereal sounds.
