Ax and the Hatchetmen
Chicago's Ax and the Hatchetmen came into their Audiotree Live Session ready to party. The rock and roll band’s shimmering three guitar attack, earthy rhythms and blistering horns have garnered them a loyal fanbase. A musical project between a long-time group of friends, Ax and the Hatchetmen's camaraderie and musical chemistry was made apparent the moment their session kicked off. The seven piece band consists of lead vocalists and guitarists of Axel Ellis and Kenny Olzewski, as well as Sal Defilippis on guitar, Hunter Olshefke on bass, Nick Deputy on drums, Phil Pistone on trumpet and Quinn Dolan on saxophone.
