Anthony Green

Scene stalwart Anthony Green is back with his most approachable release to date. Green is in the highest vocal form, his guttural alto wail becomes softer and more sparingly gnarled. Leading with an acoustic guitar, Anthony and the boys from Good Old War focus on clever story-writing and feeling over angst. Subtly intricate guitar work, ticking drums and a piano gives the band the perfect tools to tone themselves down but not out.

“Young Legs” plays like the goal Green had been working toward for years. More straight-forward and defined than previous releases, the new trajectory proves he’s here to stay.
