Covet performs “lovespell“ & "firebird" at Architectural Artifacts in Chicago, IL.
Covet was formed in 2014 by bay Area guitarist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Yvette Young. Young grew up playing piano and violin, eventually applying techniques from both instruments to guitar. The melodic two-handed tapping fingerstyle guitar sound that resulted from Young’s classical training is the cornerstone of Covet’s self described, “emotional nerd rock” sound.
